Resources for Parent Audiences

Parenting is a challenging job.  Today’s parents have a long list of concerns about the risks confronting their children.  High on the list are the harms posed by the availability of alcohol and other drugs in our schools, neighbourhoods and society.  PAD has developed a series of resources that aim to give parents and other caregivers the facts about alcohol and other drugs, practical tips  to respond to situations where drugs are involved, and confidence in their ability to prevent substance use problems.  Our resources are geared to children’s different ages and phases of development and the specific concerns parents and other caregivers might have for each of these stages.
